Andrew has been involved in martial arts since the age of 12 firstly as a judo practitioner, then Shotokan karate with a bit of Aikido, he then found a love for Taekwondo, after achieving his black belt with Hallam Korean Martial Arts he which he formed his own club in Crosspool.
In 1998 he linked up with Master Andrew Hill under the Pilsung banner at the CDYST sports hall in Crosspool, with the help of David Higgins the club produced around 30 black belt students.
After taking a bit of a back seat through injury’s Andrew took an advisory role for a while but is pleased to announce that he is back as an instructor alongside Steve Shirtliff at the above venue on Friday evenings.
Andrew recently gained his 4th Dan at the Koryo Dan grading promotion in Darlington another great achievement gained through hard work and dedication.
