Nottingham Open Poomsae & Kyorugi Championships 2013

Dear Instructor and Taekwondo Community,
Team NTC would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our 2nd BT Poomsae Open Championships running alongside our 5th Kyorugi championships to be held on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October 2013. Daedo PSS will be used for Kyorugi. NTC are committed to ensuring that the event is efficiently organised and value for money. We have made numerous changes to our events over the past two years. Here are the changes:

Kyorugi (Sunday)
We would like to encourage competitors of all ages, grades and gender to participate and therefore we will be running split grades for all categories from Peewee up to senior categories. In addition to this there will be an open male and female Veteran section within the event. WTF approved equipment to be supplied and worn by each competitor.
Daedo PSS will be used for cadet, junior and senior A class categories. The NTC event organisers will provide Daedo
Electronic Body Armour for the required categories however all other equipment is to be provided by the competitor.

WTF
approved protective equipment must be worn. The competition capacity will be limited, and applications will be dealt with on a first come first serve basis. Please ensure that your entries are received by our administration team as early as possible.

Poomsae (Saturday)
Poomsae will be take place on Saturday 26th October and will be
held in the main hall of the venue. Poomsae will consist of 3
matted areas, with increased screening and using the Adidas
electronic Budo Scoring Technology, keeping in line with other
European events.
We would like to encourage competitors of all ages, grades and
gender to participate and therefore we will be running A,B and C
Class for all age groups including Pairs and Teams.
Rules
WTF judging rules will be used (40% Accuracy & 60%
Presentation).
Full WTF Poomsae or original TKD Uniforms to be worn with a
visible white T-shirt worn underneath. (females only)
The competition will be a cut-off system.
Please ensure that the application is received by our
administration team as soon as possible. Entries are based on a
first come first served basis
